Since moving back to Georgia, I feel like we've been simultaneously really busy and not busy at all if that makes sense. We've been job hunting, house hunting, visiting with family and friends, and reacquainting ourselves with the Atlanta area. Here's a look back at the past few weeks.
Two days after we pulled our U-Haul up to my parents house, we all loaded back up into the car and made the drive to Bowling Green, Kentucky to help celebrate the graduation of my brother from Western Kentucky. On the way to Western Kentucky, we stopped in Nashville to walk around for a bit and eat some lunch.
We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating Jake's graduation, eating, drinking, and packing/cleaning Jake's apartment up before loading ANOTHER U-Haul and driving to Kennesaw!
Some other things we've been up to since we moved to the great Peach State...
We celebrated Ben and Lulu at their couples Luau shower!
We grilled out at the Smith's neighborhood pool for Memorial Day... in the pouring rain.
We reacquainted ourselves with Georgia Peaches and Chick-Fil-A.
We (by "we" here, I really mean Ryan, Brad, and Brandon...) built our very own corn hole set.
We played trivia with my family and met up with Kristen and Stephen, who were visiting on their way back to Boston from Ireland! It was so great to see some familiar places from our old home!
We celebrated little Leah's FIRST birthday with a party at Brandon and Rachel's house!
Aaaaaand we went to a Braves game with Juan and Jaclyn. We had a great time hanging out with them, but the heat was pretty unbearable for this preggo!
Love you, Bergpot!!
