4th of July in the 'Burg: Day 3

Last Friday morning, after a leisurely morning and breakfast, the group went their separate ways. The boys decided to go golf 9 holes while the girls shopped at a nearby Gap warehouse! As we were walking out the door, we noticed the rain had stopped for a moment and capitalized on the opportunity for some outdoor photos!

I love my family!

After our photo session, the girls headed to Hebron, Kentucky! The warehouse was awesome and filled with TONS of Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic goodies, but you definitely have to watch out for holes and stains on all of the clothes! I left with a $5 maxi dress, $6 yoga pants, $10 neon pink capris, $6 3/4 sleeve shirt, and a $3 necklace! Score!!
On the way home from the warehouse, we stopped at the grocery store to pick up some things we needed to prepare for the Indiana Schoeff's annual 5th of July party!

The rest of the afternoon was spent preparing for the party! Colee, Paige, Kristen, and I prepared a Snickers Salad, which turned out pretty good! I thought it tasted like a caramel apple. People started arriving around 7 and the rest of the night was spent listening to live music, eating, drinking, playing cornhole, basketball, shuffleboard, and anything Jackson could get his hands on!

Jackson is QUITE the tennis player!

A very sleepy Ellie!

Once it got dark enough, we broke out the sparklers and a couple small fireworks that were picked up the night before!

The party didn't wind down until around 1:30. Those Indianian's sure know how to party!

* Fun fact: I did a search for "What do you call a person from Indiana?" and it turned up three answers... Indianian, Hoosier, and Red Neck. Now you know. *

    1. Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny! Needless to say, I wasn't going to use that term in the place of Indianians!
