I Got the Job!!

Good morning! I'm just popping in really quickly before my family and I head out to explore the John Adams Estate in Quincy!

This morning, at 9 am, I had an interview for a paraprofessional job at an elementary school in Weymouth. I was pretty nervous but was hoping that my passion for elementary education would come through in the interview. It all went well and as I was leaving, the principal informed me that they would be making a decision soon and I should hear by the end of the week whether or not I was being offered the job.

Well... about an hour later I received a call from the principal! THE JOB IS MINE!! I'll be working in a special ed classroom (grades 1-4) with a focus on math starting in September! During this time, I'll also be taking classes towards my masters in Elementary Education in the evenings. It's going to be a busy year, but I'm so SO excited for the experience and I can't wait to get started!!
